Sarah Ferguson is Australia’s leading journalist-documentary maker. No one else in Australia has reached the same levels of achievement across both genres. She has been awarded multiple times in Australia’s top awards for both journalism and documentary making.
Amongst Sarah’s awards are 5 Walkleys, the Gold Walkley, 5 Logies for long form television & documentary series, 2 AACTA awards for best documentary series and the Asian Academy Award for best documentary series in 2020.
She has made two multi award-winning television series with In Films. Hitting Home is a three part series on domestic violence involving unique access to women in extreme circumstances and violent men in prison. Revelation is a landmark 3 part series for the ABC on paedophile priests in the Catholic church, achieving another world first by interviewing convicted church abusers in prison and gaining filming access to their criminal trials.
Sarah’s programs involve rigorous investigations, exceptional access, high end production and some of the best television writing in Australia. She is also one of Australia’s best interviewers with a huge following for her combination of incisiveness, wit and warmth.
